For 50 years, Togotwee Mountain Lodge has been welcoming guests and providing unforgettable snowmobile vacations. With its incredible scenery and pristine snow, you may want to check out this Wyoming resort for yourself.
Nestled high above Jackson Hole, Wyoming, in the mountains of the Bridger-Teton National Forest, Togwotee Mountain Lodge is known as one of the world’s top snowmobile destinations. Bridger-Teton National Forest offers 2.5 million acres of varied mountain terrain and 600 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. The Lodge is also only 16 miles from Grand Teton National Park and 44 miles from Yellowstone National Park, securing it as one of the most beautiful and exciting destinations in the country.
Togwotee Pass was first surveyed in 1873 by William A. Jones of the Corp of Engineers, who was looking to build a road to Yellowstone. Nearly 50 years later, the road crew arrived, and among them were Al and Bertha Angle. Seeing a need for home cooked meals, Bertha started cooking for the crew, and when the road opened in 1921, Al and Bertha built a permanent camp that offered comfortable lodging and home-cooked meals. After 30 years in operation, they sold their business to Harry Moll. Moll later sold it to the Weideman Family, who then built Togwotee Mountain Lodge and opened it in 1965.
Open December to mid-April , Togwotee Mountain Lodge welcomes riders of all abilities, beginner to expert, trail riders to backcountry enthusiasts.
